Gary Barlow’s son went viral years before he recently found internet fame for being massive.
Forget Donald Trump, it’s all anyone talked about today. That picture the Take That star shared and how people can’t believe the size of him. He’s launched a thousands memes but it isn’t the first time Daniel’s gone viral.
Over on X/Twitter back in 2019, Gary shared a video of himself working out with his son by his side. The Take That singer proudly showed off their moves and heart-warmingly wrote that he is “proud” of the lad – who was big back then.
Barlow typed: “I love spending time with my kids. Here’s Dan and I having a father and son training session. I’m very proud of my boy & his commitment to his fitness. Don’t look at the difference in weights. Don’t notice that I’m stood a little further forward to make the size gap smaller. Lol.”
In the clip, Gary wore a black tank top, black Nike shorts and black trainers while Daniel opted for just a pair of red shorts. The father-son duo stood in the garden and lifted weights together as Gary grimaced with effort..
Down in the replies, Barlow fans were astonished by his son’s height and commented underneath the video. Someone responded with: “His mother must be a giant [smiling emoji].”
Another Take That fan noticed that the pair look “so alike” as others gushed they “must be very proud of each other”. One comment read: “Damn, how tall is the lad?”

Someone else joked that Gary should “give up” as he has been “defeated” by Daniel, while others laughed at their height difference. “You’re so small. I am laughing,” quipped another commenter as a second savagely wrote: “You look like the ‘shrunk in the wash’ version of Dan!”

The image showed Daniel towering over his father Gary and sisters Emily, 22, and Daisy, 15. Daniel reportedly stands at an impressive 6ft 2in (1.88m) and the internet has exploded with memes light-heartedly poking fun at his height compared to the rest of his family.
