Fans were moved by the photos and heaDed over to the comment section to share their heartfelt thoughts. One social media user said: “Thank you to Denise, Olivia, Kelle and Brenda for speaking out!

“As an after-crisis service, we see the long-term effects of domestic abuse and it cannot be spoken about enough! Breaking the stigma associated with abuse and educating people about why people stay and why they’re ‘not over it yet’ is key! Well done @loosewomen @itv.”

Another fan also highlightedthe importance of the campaign and said: “That’s brilliant. I hope they do some interviews of the aftermath – the family court system is shocking. When you try to protect kids from an abusive x you are hostile and risk losing them yourself, when you don’t seek to protect them you are neglectful and risk losing them yourself ….. x”

While a third added: “So happy to see people pushing this message out there because there is not enough info out there. This needs to be discussed in secondary schools, colleges and universities up and down the country and get our girls (and boys!) educated and aware. Because as someone has already stated in another comment.. a lot of people don’t realise they’re in that type of relationship sadly.”
