Jada Pinkett Smith faced a fearful ordeal after police were called to her home when two hooded men allegedly attempted to enter her home.
It is unknown if the Red Table Talk star was at home alone when she spotted the suspected burglars climbing onto her balcony. Fortunately, Jada had noticed the men and managed to startle them, as they took off before cops arrived at the scene.
According to TMZ a law enforcement source explained to the publication that two men in hoodies had attempted to break into the property just before 8pm. It was believed that the duo thought no one had been home.

They were fended off when they were seen by Will Smith’s wife – of whom he is believed to be separated from. Police were called to the Smith’s Los Angeles home but the culprits were long gone.

There is no evidence to suggest if Jada had been the target of a serious crime or if she could have been a victim of burglary. It’s anyones guess as to what they were after but there has been a recent spout of celebrity houses being broken into within the area.
Detectives involved therefore made a burglary report, with the case remaining open and under investigation. Jada isn’t the only star in Los Angeles to be a target of thieves after “Squid Game” star Lee Byung-hun, actress Lena Waithe, model Abigail Ratchford, and Hollywood heartthrob Keanu Reeves all being recent victims.

Jada revealed last year that her marriage to the Independence Day star had broke down in 2016 and they had been separated. During an appearance on the Drew Barrymore show, Jada went on to confirm that she and Will were “staying together forever,” and that they’d both “tried.”
In an interview with People back in October, Jada also confirmed that she and Will had not been an item during the bombshell 2022 Academy Awards – when Will slapped Chris Rock after he cracked a joke about Jada’s appearance. She explained to the publication while promoting her tell-all memoir Worthy: “We’ve been doing some really heavy-duty work together.”

She added: “We just got deep love for each other and we are going to figure out what that looks like for us.” Jada and the award winning actor share two children together – Jaden, 25, and Willow, 22 and they’ll be working out what life looks like as family going forward.
The actress hailed her kids for being “little guru’s” who had supported her through what appears to be a very difficult and challenging time for them all. Jada also shot down speculation about their “open marriage” claiming that had never been the case.
