Jane Moore ‘might sit in silence for two weeks’ as she admits I’m A Celeb concern

I’m A Celebrity star Jane Moore has shared her concerns ahead of her stint down under.

The journalist and regular on ITV panel show Loose Women was revealed to be taking part in the new series of the reality show earlier this week. Following in the footsteps of her fellow Loose Women, Jane Moore has been praised by her fellow panellists for taking on the huge challenge.

However, before heading into the jungle, Jane has admitted there are some things she will be struggling with from the get go. This, she added, will push her fellow campmates, and has led her to deciding to stay quiet for the whole time she is on the show.

When asked about what she might be concerned about whilst in the I’m A Celebrity camp, Jane had a number of problems she opened up about. “I’m not great at sitting still, to be honest, even at home, so I think it’s going to take me quite a while to just chill a bit,” she explained.

“I think I’m going to have to be like walking around and getting up and down, and then getting into the flow of not doing anything very much,” Jane added. “But I am going to chat to people – I’m very, very interested in people, like you guys; I’m a journalist, and that’s kind of why you gravitate towards the job.”

However, while Jane is used to pressing for answers to questions in her day job, she confessed she will find it difficult not to launch straight into the probing. “Of course, you’ve got to ease people into it, because if I suddenly start lobbing loads of questions at them, they’ll be like, ‘Who’s this woman, and why does she keep asking me questions?'” she remarked.

Instead, Jane said she would have to “rein that in a bit” and let conversations come through naturally. However, she has already admitted that she will be a tough person to live with – particularly if she has not been well-fed the day before.

“Everybody says to me, when you’re really hungry and tired and slightly in the humidity, which I’ve experienced this morning, it does really knock you out and make you very low in energy,” she quipped. “So I might just sit there and be mute for two weeks; you never know.”

It comes as the star-studded line-up for this year’s edition of I’m A Celebrity was fully confirmed by ITV earlier this week. Amongst the famous faces going into the jungle this year are podcast host GK Barry, McFly star Danny Jones and WAG royalty Coleen Rooney.

Coleen has reportedly landed the show’s largest ever appearance fee, with ITV spending an eye-watering £1.5million on landing her for her first reality TV stint. Previously the highest fee was given to Reform UK leader and prominent Brexiteer Nigel Farage, who demanded £1million for the pleasure of heading down under.

I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! starts on Sunday, November 17, at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
