The wife of BBC star Jay Blades has confirmed the end of their marriage, claiming she ‘grabbed a bag and left’.
Fitness guru Lisa Marie Zbozen, 43, married the 54-year-old Repair Shop star in a small Barbados ceremony in November 2022, just 18 months ago. But she has now confirmed that their relationship is over and that she’s living in a “spare room” in a lengthy statement on Instagram.
In what was initially a private post on Facebook, Lisa said that she’d “never cried so much” following the split. She said: “I don’t know how to say this because it’s still really raw.

“I probably should be really angry but I’m just incredibly sad about the whole thing right now. I don’t think I’ve ever cried so much.”

Lisa later went public with the announcement on Instagram: She wrote: “I wanted my husband to love me and keep me safe and I would love him right back.
“But it just got worse and worse, until I grabbed a bag of a few things & just left.” She claimed she didn’t want such a day to come and that she would need counselling after the split.

The fitness instructor continued: “This is the first post I’ve made out loud and it feels like I’m numb. I will admit I’m crying as I type this as I can’t believe this is even real.
“I hope you don’t mind if I just have a few days trying to figure out my life as I’m currently in a spare room with a few essentials.” She concluded: “No matter how mad it got I still apologised & still tried to fix it, because I loved my husband, very much. All my love, A very broken Lisa-Marie x”

It comes after Jay told fans he was taking a break from social media following his uncle’s murder. He told of how Richard Brathwaite’s death had affected him after attending his funeral on Monday (April 29).
In a video shared on social media, Jay told his followers that the death of his 72-year-old relative had left him feeling “messed up” and he needed to “get some therapy”.
