Julia Fox discovered ‘shrine’ to female ghost living in her home who ‘watches over her’

Julia Fox has claimed she discovered an eerie ghost “shrine” in the home she purchased in 2023 after a “supernatural” presence drew her to the property.

The Uncut Gems star, 33, moved into her New York City home with her three-year-old son, Valentino, last year but says it came with an unusual guest — its own ghost. Not only does Julia believe in ghosts, but she’s also convinced it was the entity that led to her buying her $2.9M townhouse in Harlem.

In a recent interview with Vulture, she explained: “Most recently, I was drawn to this home and then when I bought it, I went downstairs and there was a whole shrine set up for the ghost that lived there.” She added: “Before I saw the shrine, I knew that there was a ghost drawing me to the house because every time I would go it would be, like, on a full moon and it was always magical, mystical, supernatural.”

Julia claims her live-in ghost is a female and even has a name — Beauty. But while some might find living with a phantom spirit terrifying, Julia believes Beauty watches over her and her son.

“She’s the matriarch of the home and she watches over us,” Julia stated. She added: “I believe in other dimensions.”

Julia’s ghost friend isn’t the first unexpected guest she’s lived with. Before purchasing her multi-million dollar townhouse, the actress and model had been living in a modest Manhattan apartment she described as “tiny” and revealed it was “mouse infested”.

But she didn’t mind these residents either, in a video shared to TikTok, she said: “We do have a small mouse problem. It’s a problem depending on how you look at it. I kind of let them rock, I appreciate that at night, while we’re sleeping, they come out and clean up the crumbs that my son drops on the floor.”

The video was part of a messy apartment tour Julia said she’d likely be “roasted” for. As she panned around the small apartment, she showed she had piles of clothes, children’s toys and other miscellaneous items clogging up the hallway.

She started the video by saying: “Okay, I never thought in a million years I would do this but I do believe in maximum transparency. I’m going to give you guys an apartment tour! I know I’m going to get roasted or whatever, but maybe someone can watch this and think: ‘Okay, maybe I’m not doing so bad’.”
