Kate Middleton’s uncle Gary Goldsmith joked that the Princess of Wales will be peeking at Celebrity Big Brother from “behind the sofa”. He made a splash as he joined the reality TV gang, including stars like Louis Walsh and Fern Britton.
Gary, who is 58 and has made loads of money on his own, isn’t afraid to say what he thinks about Prince Harry and Meghan. This means the Royal family might be a bit worried about what he’ll say on the show.
He chatted with AJ Odudu and Will Best on ITV today and when they asked if Kate would tune in, Gary gave a surprising response. He joked: “If so it’ll be behind the sofa!”

Meanwhile, Kate is getting better after having an operation on her tummy that was planned. The Palace said she had this surgery back in January.
She won’t be doing any Royal work until Easter or later. People are really curious about how she’s doing, but the Palace has said they won’t tell us more unless something big happens, reports the Mirror.
They already told everyone in January how long it would take for Kate to get better. Goldsmith, known for being the misfit of his family, tried to appear I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here in 2020.
However, his reality TV attempts at the time were not a success. This was because people worried that William and Kate would feel awkward due to her mother’s brother, as per the Mail’s story.
Although the team at Celebrity Big Brother do not appear to have the same worries. As producers believe his refreshing style will be perfect for the show.
The ITV bosses reportedly spent a whopping £2million to gather the best stars for this first series. From old favourites like Louis Walsh and Fern Britton to new celebrities like Heartstopper’s Bradley Riches, presenter Zeze Millz, and even Kate Middleton’s uncle, this year’s show could be the most exciting yet.
Last week, Mirror got exclusive access to tour the celebrity house. The host, Will, revealed one big change since last year – the shower doors are now frosted.
“To give the new housemates some more privacy,” he explained. “Makes sense!”
