Katie Price has opened up about the horrifying sexual assault she experienced at the tender age of seven.
In her new book, “This is Me: The High Life. The Dark Days. The FULL Story”, the 46-year-old model recounts the chilling words spoken by the man who assaulted her during what should have been an innocent day out at the park with her mum.
Katie vividly remembers the man’s ginger freckles, describing them as clear as day and sprawling over his face. She says that even after all these years, she can still see them and his bald head with wisps of ginger hair if she closes her eyes.
The man had sickeningly offered her a pound and an ice cream. In her upcoming book, which has been serialised in the Mail, Katie wrote: “He was a complete stranger who was in my life for no more than a few minutes 39 years ago, and yet I can vividly see him like it was yesterday.
“And that’s because this man, this monster, sexually assaulted me when I was seven years old. Seven. Afterwards, he pointed up to a block of flats in the distance. ‘I’m going to go back there and get you a pound and an ice cream’.”
Katie admitted that his “voice echoes in my head as I write this,” as she explained how she had “gone to the park with my mum and some friends, and there was a bush that formed part of a cut-through to get there,” she said she had taken the route “countless times,” and “it was the middle of the day and the park, near our home in Hove, East Sussex.”,
The former glamour model described how the park “was full of children’s laughter and the sound of playing,” while she “was a world away in a nightmare of sexual exploitation.” She added that “it was from that moment on that I felt men were always looking at me. I suppose having your innocence shattered from a young age does that to you.”
The police never caught the man who assaulted her. Katie also revealed in her new book that she has “been a victim of sexual assault on two more occasions” since that day. The first “with a celebrity, but, though I want that acknowledged, I’m not going to be naming them here.”
She then admitted her third time being sexually assaulted occurred “in South Africa in 2018, when I was filming for an ITV1 reality show, My Crazy Life, with a crew and two of my five children: my son, Junior, then 13, and my daughter, Princess, then 11.”
