Kim Kardashian left the world stunned as she showed off her ever-shrinking waist at the Met Gala.
For the star-studded event, Kim arrived wearing a gorgeous silver gown dripping with leaves and chains. Around her waist, a super tight corset cinched in her figure and created an impossibly tiny waistline that has left the internet in shock.
After laying eyes on Kim’s Met Gala pictures, some critics even questioned if she’d had surgery to achieve her svelte frame. People over on X/Twitter had a lot to say about the star’s controversial look and shared their opinions on the social media platform.

One person said: “Kim Kardashian’s internal organs are shouting for help,” while another person said: “Did Kim Kardashian just show up in a torture device, what the f*** is happening?”

More people quipped that the reality TV star looked like she was “struggling to breathe” while others simply stated that they “weren’t impressed” with Kim’s Met Gala looks as she wears “the same silhouette every year”.
As for her ribs, many people wondered if she’d had some removed to fit into the dress: “No but seriously, how many ribs and other vital organs did Kim Kardashian have removed to achieve a waist like this,” while someone else joked that she’d come straight from the doctors office “after having half of her ribs removed”.

Others were distracted by the rest of the Kardashian sisters’ outfit. The metallic dress featured a sweetheart neckline, which was almost entirely covered by a grey cardigan-shawl that Kim wore draped over her shoulders.
As per usual, critics flooded X/Twitter and commented on the styled choice, saying that she was “not doing that sickening corset justice” by covering it “with that tired cardigan”. Someone else admitted that they “get it” as she looks “comfortable” but didn’t understand why she’d opted for the cozy piece.

One person even quipped that it looked like a basic Free People cardigan. More criticism came for Kim’s hair, which she recently changed back to her iconic icy blonde colour – an X/Twitter user said her new look gave them a “headache”.
