Liam Payne was ‘fearful’ of P Diddy who had ‘most evil laugh he’d ever heard’

Liam Payne once admitted he was “fearful” of P Diddy.

During an appearance on The Graham Norton Show, Liam opened up about his experience meeting the rapper along with a number of other Hollywood icons.

He explained: “I went over to speak to him and Jay-Z and as I shook his hand he just chuckled…the most evil laugh I’ve ever heard. So, I’m a little bit fearful of that man.” Payne said that the incident happened while P Diddy, also known as Sean Combs, was standing beside Jay-Z and Leonardo DiCaprio.

Liam has sadly died aged 31 after falling from a balcony in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He was staying at the Hotel Cas Sur in Palermo with his girlfriend when the incident occurred.

A local ambulance manager spoke to TMZ and said: “At 17:04 through the 911 integrated public safety system, we were alerted of a person who was in an internal courtyard of the management of the south house hotel. At 17:11 a same team arrived and verified the death of this man and later we found out that he was a singer in a musical group.”

“Unfortunately he had injuries that were incompatible with life as a result of his fall, so we had to confirm his death. There was no possibility of resuscitation.”

Devastated fans flocked to the hotel where the incident took place to pay tribute to the One Direction singer. People were seen on their knees, while others placed candles around the area.

Payne was part of One Direction alongside Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan. The group skyrocketed to stardom after appearing on The X Factor.

Simon Cowell placed the five singers together and were fan favourites from the beginning. 1D placed third on the talent show behind winner Matt Cardle and runner-up Rebecca Ferguson.

Celebs and fans have all flocked to social media to pay tribute to the chart-topping singer. Former The X Factor host Dermot O’Leary has spoken out in light of the news.

“I just thought of his family, I thought of his son and then I thought of his parents. I mean, no parent should have to bury their son or daughter. Obviously our thoughts and our prayers, our candles are half-lit for his family. That goes without saying.”
