Love Island legends regret TV show as they brand themselves ‘young and stupid’

Love Island royalty Olivia and Alex Bowen have opened up about their biggest TV regret.

Olivia and Alex first met on series two of Love Island in 2016 and got hitched in 2018. They now share a two-year-old son, Abel, who was born in 2022.

But back in 2017, the couple starred on Just Tattoo Of Us where they were tasked with giving each other embarrassing tattoos. However, Olivia is currently going through the “painful” process of getting her tattoo removed.

Alex chose a cartoon drawing of Olivia riding a cow to put on her thigh, but she no longer wants it on her body. Olivia exclusively told us: “I am actually in the process of getting it removed. It’s actually pretty painful, I won’t lie, but it’s actually working really well.

“It’s going well and I’ve got my third session soon. I think it will all go 100%. I don’t know if I’m in the market for any more tattoos so I don’t think I’ll get a cover-up.”

When asked if they regret going on the show, Olivia responded: “Oh yeah, we were young and stupid.” Before her husband Alex added: “Honestly, if I could put my head now on a younger version of myself, it’s ridiculous. But it was funny at the time.”

The pair have also teamed up with Affinity Water to promote their new Look and Listen Test. Talking about the campaign, Olivia commented: “Everyone’s always looking for little tips and tricks to save money and I think the look and listen test is a great MOT that you can do on your home to make sure that you’re getting the most out of your water and not going crazy on your water bill.

“Things like listening out for drips of running water and checking your bill for abnormalities, there are loads of little things you can do, and it is really easy. Currently leaks cost the nation around £700 million so I think we can all definitely up our game a little bit.”

Starting in 2025, Affinity Water’s efforts will increase with more leak-fixing, water audits for businesses, and new water-saving policies from the government to support the program. Stop leaks in their tracks with the Look and Listen Test, visit affinitywater.co.uk/homeleaks to learn more.
