“Executives in Hollywood are always asking me, ‘How do I get in touch with Michelle?’” Top producer Danny Brocklehurst has worked with Michelle on a string of TV dramas over the years and he has seen how much demand there is for her now.
He said: “I think there’s a very high chance we won’t be able to get her for TV shows in the future.” Michelle has become one of Britain’s biggest TV stars since leaving Corrie in 2014.
The Stockport-born beauty has had hits with Our Girl, Ten Pound Poms and Brassic. And then Fool Me Once has become the most-watched series of the year on Netflix.
Harlan said: “People can sense the authenticity and the kindness with Michelle. And it’s legit. She’s a really wonderful person.
“Every day on the set of Fool Me Once, she brought a smile and energy. Audiences can sense that she’s great. It’s real with her.”
Danny added: “Michelle has surprised people with the level of her success, particularly with Fool Me Once.”
