P Diddy’s jail cell was raided by feds before confidential material was taken, according to his attorneys.
A letter, seen by The Mirror, was sent to the judge and Marc Agnifilo has claimed that attonery-client privileged materials relating to the case are now in the hands of prosecutors and the U.S. Attorneys office. He alleged that this included the “defendant’s own written notes” which are “concerning defense witnesses and defense strategies”.
He added: “This search and seizure are in violation of Mr. Combs’ Fourth, Fifth and Sixth Amendment rights.”
The lawyer said the material was “created in preparation for trial” that is due to take place early next year and he added that it was an “outrageous government conduct amounting to a substantive due process violation”.

Agnifilo is now demanding an immediate evidentiary hearing takes place and called the issue “emergent”. If it takes place, the team representing Sean ‘P.Diddy Combs’ will seek to discover “who authorized a search of Mr. Combs’ sleeping area, personal effects and paperwork”.
They are also asking for the US. Attorneys office to disclose which specific material was allegedly taken from the cell.
In another legal filling, prosecutors confirmed they had “his personal notes” and that “BOP investigators recovered the following notes from the defendant’s cell during a pre-planned nationwide sweep of BOP facilities”.

This revelation was first revealed when Diddy’s bail request was opposed – after his alleged contact with a witness was flagged as a concern. Prosecutors argued this was discovered after looking at Diddy’s phone records.
In a document, prosecutors said: “Since the defendant has been detained at MDC, he has continued to try to evade law enforcement monitoring, corruptly influence witness testimony, and further attack the integrity of these proceedings.”
Nicholas Biase, the Chief of Public Affairs for the U.S. Attorney’s Office in the Southern District of New York, declined to comment and The Mirror also contacted attorney Marc Agnifilo.
