Rachel Stevens loved posing in sexy photoshoots and can’t wait to show her children the magazines she featured in.
For most mothers, the idea of their kids stumbling across steamy photos of them is the stuff of nightmares, but for the pop sensation, not only is she perfectly ok with this, but if anything, she’s looking forward to the moment.
At the peak of her fame, the S Club 7 star, was a monumental man-magnet, with her adoring fans buying lad-mags in order to see her face and figure on the cover, with only a racy bra or a carefully placed arm to hide her modesty.

Her popularity among readers grew to such an extent that she featured on FHM’s Sexiest Women list 11 years in a row, and was even crowned Sexiest Woman of All Time in 2014.
Reflecting on that period of her life, the 42-year-old said: “Winning ‘sexiest female’ was so lovely and so flattering. Obviously, it’s all tongue-in-cheek and a bit of fun.”
She added: “For me, being in FHM wasn’t sexualised, it was about being sensual and creative. It was about being part of a team.”
In the years since the era of the lad mag has died a death, but that doesn’t mean the pictures of the pop star that made the front cover have been lost to time. But Rachel isn’t concerned about her two daughters, Amelie, ten, and Minnie, six, judging her.
As per The Sun, she said: “Looking back, I wasn’t confident really. I’m definitely much more confident now. I know what I want. You just get to know yourself and what you need, don’t you?
“I want to bring my girls up to be confident in who they are and the decisions they make. I want them to have self-belief . . . as rounded human beings. I’ll always be very honest with them. Kids are so emotionally smart — sometimes more so than we are as grown-ups.”
Rachel was only 19 when she made the leap into superstardom with S Club 7. But just three years later, she shred the ‘good girl’ image, appearing in her first FHM shoot in a black leather crop top and leggings.
The blonde bombshell quickly captured the attention of the readers, outselling her bandmates, Hannah Spearritt, Jo O’Meara and Tina Barrett.
Rachel is now supporting her children, who, like their mother, have caught the performing bug: The singer explained: “Amelie has decided she wants to be a singer. Obviously, it could change, as she’s only ten. But she’s passionate about singing. Minnie loves dancing. She’s saying she wants to be a chef right now. I will support them in whatever they want to do.”
