Rap icon admits he ‘misses P Diddy’s parties’ as fans fume ‘read the room’

An iconic rapper has been told to “stay quiet” after praising P Diddy’s parties.

Bow Wow appeared on the More To The Story podcast and explained that he thought the last two BET Awards weren’t the same as P Diddy didn’t hold one of his famous afterparties. He told host Rocsi Diaz: “The past two, they just didn’t feel right cause there was no motion, there was no parties, there was nowhere to go.”

He added: “It’s like, [Diddy] was the guy that every young hustler looked up to – like, he just makes me…he just stepped your hustle game up, you know what I mean?”

The presenter explained that Bow Wow was not referring to P Diddy’s “freak off” parties. Bow Wow confessed he feel it was “f***ed up” and “messed up” having to witness Diddy’s recent scandal.

He also mentioned that the situation “seems unreal at times” and that he has discussed Diddy’s recent arrest with fellow musician Jermaine Dupri. Bow Wow explained: “Me and Jermaine spoke about and I was like: ‘I never thought we would see him in this position, ever,’ he’s like the gatekeeper to the game.”

P Diddy, real name Sean Combs, was arrested on 16 September and charged with sex trafficking, racketeering and transportation to engage in prostitution, all of which he “categorically denies”.

Bow Wow’s comment appeared to leave listeners outraged as MailOnline reported that one person asked: “Considering the current circumstances, to be saying this is wild,” as another wondered: “Why would he say this??”

Someone else added: “Can he read the room?” While one X/Twitter user said: “I think everyone will be okay without Diddy’s presence…”

Someone wrote: “Legit tears,” while another chimed in: “Does he not know what he’s in jail for?” and a third person typed: “Fiending for Diddy’s [parties] is crazy. Dude should have just stayed quiet.”
