Rocker Sir Rod Stewart is considering flogging his sports car collection because the streets near his home are plagued with potholes.
The singer-songwriter, 79, was filmed back in March 2022 picking up a shovel to fill the cracks along the damaged road near Harlow in Essex.
But he has revealed his five luxury motors may have to be go because “no one can be bothered” to sort the damaged streets out.
Writing on his Instagram account, Sir Rod said: “I am extremely fortunate and eternally grateful to be the owner of these five beautiful hybrid sports cars, which, in my opinion, are true ‘works of art’.
“Unfortunately, because of the potholes on our roads, I may have to find new owners for them.

“I’ve been driving these iconic Italian cars since the 70s, and I absolutely love and adore them.
“This post is for my fans – thank you, as you are the sole reason I own them.
“And to all the trolls…don’t bother; I never read the comments.”
Two years ago Sir Rod took it upon himself to try to fix the roads, claiming “no-one can be bothered to do it”.
He said: “People are bashing their cars up. The other day, there was an ambulance with a burst tyre.
“My Ferrari can’t go through here at all.”
Posting a picture of himself and friends filling in the holes, he said at the time: “This is the state of the road near where I live in Harlow and it’s been like this for ages.
“So me and the boys thought we would come and do it ourselves.”
Following the singer’s DIY attempts, Essex County Council fixed the roads, and a spokesman said: “We would be happy for Sir Rod Stewart to accompany one of our road-patching gangs for a day.”
