Stacey Solomon’s “toxic trait” left her sporting a black eye just hours after she made a dazzling comeback on Loose Women.
The telly fave returned to the panel on Monday (June 3), joining Jane Moore, Denise Welch, and Brenda Edwards for some fiery debates. After taking an 18-month break following the birth of her daughter Belle, Stacey has only popped up on the show a few times.
But this time, she was ready to rumble, with viewers later saying she totally “wiped the floor” with Denise during their heated discussions. As Loose Women’s Insta dropped a vid of Stacey getting glammed up, fans were buzzing to see her back.

But later on, the star took to Instagram on Tuesday (June 4) to spill the beans on how she ended up with a black eye. In her Insta Story, the 34-year-old mum-of-five was seen sorting out her hair and chatting to her legions of followers.

She shared the details of her mishap with a giggle. She said: “So, I may have given myself a black eye!” Stacey then zoomed in for a close-up and shared the whole story
She continued: “Yesterday, I got back from Loose Women and my duck coop was there and I’ve got meetings all day today I’ve got a shoot tomorrow and loads of things to do this week so I thought if I don’t put it up this second, I won’t put it up until the weekend.”

“And any normal person would say, ‘That’s fine, put it up at the weekend! They’re not going to be in that coop for another six weeks!’
“But my toxic trait is that if there’s something in front of me, I have to do it immediately. I don’t know why I’m like that. So I persisted to build a duck coop in literally dusk, dusk lighting, and I got to the roof, got to the triangle bit on the roof and dropped it on my eye.”
With a resigned chuckle, Stacey, who recently added some cute ducklings to her family, mused: “Why am I like this? ” She then quipped about her upcoming photoshoot.
She added: “So that’ll be fun at the shoot tomorrow. It’ll probably be worse tomorrow. Mine’s always worse the day after, the day after but it was worth it!”
