Strictly fans were ‘left in despair’ after the dance-off result was leaked online overnight.
The results show, which airs on Sunday, is pre-recorded on Saturday night following the live show. This often leads to the name of the eliminated celebrity being leaked online.
The Twitter (X) account, dedicated to leaking the results, provided live updates during the dance-off. It announced the first couple to land in the bottom two before revealing the second pair to join them.

Although we know the name of the celeb star who got the boot, we will not be sharing it.
Fans expressed their views online, with one commenting “it’s a joke” that one couple remained in the competition. Another fan concurred, suggesting they should be in the dance-off, reports the Mirror.
However, despite some agreeing with the result, others posted a deluge of crying emojis.
Blackpool Week started with a bang on Saturday night, as Chris McCausland and Dianne Buswell impressed with their American Smooth to Jump by Paul Anka. Meanwhile, Tasha Ghouri and Aljaz Skorjanec set the dance floor alight with their Paso Doble to Torn by Nathan Lanier.
Ahead of tonight’s show, Wynne Evans and partner Katya Jones were the underdogs at 3/5, closely followed by Pete Wicks and Jowita Przysta and Jamie Borthwick and Michelle Tsiakkas. The couple found themselves in Sunday’s dance-off against Shayne Ward and Nancy Xu.
Head judge Shirley Ballas’ decision to save them sparked fury among fans.
Wynne opened up about his nail-biting dance-off on his BBC Radio Wales show, explaining why he reckoned Shirley saved his sequins. Prior to the Monday show broadcast, co-host Dot Davies couldn’t hide her anxiety over his weekend ordeal, confessing: “I don’t want you to do that again!”
Eager to lavish praise on Shirley, she added: “I’ve always said [Shirley’s] a good girl, I’ve always liked that Shirley. Good girl, saw sense! ” Wynne admitted: “Gosh, I tell you. It was pretty nerve-wracking to say.
“And also I think a approach it from a different angle, I think, to some people because I’m having a good time, thrilled to be there.”
However, Shirley found herself defending after coming under brutal attack online from trolls who doubted her impartiality. Upset viewers stormed Twitter, with pointed comments like: “Can we start a petition to get Shirley off this show, she doesn’t even bother trying to conceal her favouritism anymore and she’s head judge? ? It’s just not fair on the other contestants #strictly.”
Shirley clapped back with her own take on the criticism, jesting about leaving the series as she responded: “Where do I sign lol. Night night. X”
Yet a flood of support followed, as fans took to her defence. One passionate viewer hit back with: “That’s why you’re a judge and they are not. I personally love you on strictly, so take no notice.”
Another fan chimed in with support, commenting: “You have your opinion Shirley, as we all do. We don’t always have to agree with your judgement but it takes no effort to respect you. I’m sorry you’re getting so much negativity yet again, try to ignore it. You’re my favourite judge and I love that you follow your heart.”
