Strictly champion Ellie Leach wants to make it in Hollywood.
The former Corrie star is hoping to land a role in a big movie, following in the footsteps of fellow soap actors who have gone on to become movie megastars, just like Margot Robbie.
She said: “I’m open to going to Hollywood. Why not? Who wouldn’t want to do films?

“Doing Strictly has really opened my eyes and made me want to do new things. I was quite scared to say yes to things before I did the show. I was quite nervous to throw myself into things.

“But now I’m like, ‘What’s the worst that can happen?’. If it’s not for me then I can say, ‘At least I tried’. I want to go for things now. I’m excited to see what will happen.”
A host of soap stars have gone on to become movie stars in recent years.

Margot Robbie left Neighbours and became the highest-paid actress in Hollywood. Others who have made it big include Hollyoaks star Nathalie Emmanuel and EastEnders hunk Ben Hardy.
They have all given Ellie the confidence to chase her dreams.

She said: “They’re inspiring. They’ve started off on soaps and then moved on to other things. It’s nice to look up to people who have come from the same background.
Ellie is set to tour the country in play Cluedo 2, which kicks off at the Richmond Theatre on February 29.
