Strictly’s ‘real winner’ revealed as star ‘could earn millions’ and bag huge TV deals

EXCLUSIVE: Strictly Come Dancing may have crowned its winner, but one of the BBC finalists has been tipped to rake in six-figure deals and land huge reality TV gigs

One Strictly Come Dancing star seems set for TV glory and massive profits.

The BBC show aired its final on Saturday night (December 14), with finalists Chris McCausland, Tasha Ghouri, JB Gill and Sarah Hadland vying for the Glitterball. Blind comedian Chris, who was partnered with Dianne Buswell, was the favourite to win it.

However, it seems Love Island star Tasha Ghouri could be the “real winner” from this year’s series when it comes to life after the ballroom. She’s predicted to rake in six-figure sums from lucrative brand deals and land massive reality TV show gigs.

Tasha is likely to be “inundated with media offers” after Strictly, according to PR expert Kayley Cornelius. Speaking on behalf of Betfred Lotto, Kayley gave Daily Star her exclusive take on what the finalists could do next.

Tasha Ghouri

Tasha, who danced with show pro Aljaz, looks destined for superstardom and is likely to have TV offers pouring in. The star, who boasts over 1m Instagram followers, is very appealing to brands and can therefore earn big paychecks, possibly over six figures.

Celebrity PR Specialist Kayley said: “Tasha might just be the real winner of Strictly, thanks to her incredible marketability and ability to connect with a wide range of audiences. Her content, which centres on lifestyle, beauty, and fashion, makes her especially appealing to brands in those sectors—some of the biggest spenders in online advertising.

“Appearing on Strictly Come Dancing is always a major PR move for any celebrity, but Tasha Ghouri seems poised to benefit more than most. Since announcing her participation, her Instagram engagement has soared, nearly doubling her average interactions compared to before.

“With her large following and high engagement rate, brands are likely to pay top rates to work with her. Tasha could easily command a five-figure sum per sponsored post, and long-term collaborations could push her earnings into six figures—or even higher if she becomes the face of a brand.”

Discussing Tasha’s TV future, Kayley said: “Tasha will likely be inundated with media offers—from daytime TV and radio appearances to podcasts and online shows. Her strong social media presence bridges the gap between traditional and new media, giving her a significant edge in the evolving PR and branding landscape.

“While fees for broadcast appearances can range from £1,000 to tens of thousands depending on the segment, these opportunities can quickly add up, paving the way for even bigger ventures.

Kayley could see Tasha heading into the jungle on I’m A Celebrity, or hosting her own dating show focusing on individuals using sign language following reports in The Sun that she’d inspired such a show. A hosting job could be another six-figure payday.

She said this could “position her as the next Zara McDermott”, who successfully transitioned from Love Island to documentary-making and presenting. Kayley concluded: “For Tasha, the opportunities ahead look both vast and lucrative.”

Chris McCausland

Chris could also earn millions from big TV deals with Netflix or Prime(Image: PA)

Chris, a fan favourite of this year’s series, has announced a stand up tour next year. But he could land some major deals with Netflix or Amazon Prime which may set him up for millions in earnings.

Kayley said: “Chris McCausland’s post-Glitterball future already seems mapped out, with the comedian announcing a string of tour dates running well into 2026. That said, I don’t think this rules out big brands wanting to capitalise on his Strictly success.

“He was a fan favourite throughout the series, so it wouldn’t be a surprise if platforms like Netflix or Amazon Prime are eyeing him up for some major deals. Netflix, in particular, is known for its comedy specials, and they could easily tap into his tour, selecting key dates to film for a special series, which in itself could set him up for a six-figure payday.

She added: “Looking further ahead, Chris seems well-positioned to land a lead hosting role on a new comedy game show. His appearances on programmes like Would I Lie to You? have showcased his talent and value, giving him a strong edge. Securing his own show could see him following in the footsteps of Jack Whitehall, whose mix of live specials and comedy travel series has been hugely successful. If Chris takes a similar path, he could be looking at multi-million-pound success too.”

JB Gill

JB Gill could be one of the new faces of morning TV or children’s telly. ITV bosses might also be eyeing him up for the jungle, following the success of this year’s I’m A Celeb king Danny Jones.

Kayley said: “JLS star JB Gill may already have had a taste of what life after Strictly Come Dancing could look like. After stepping in for Sam Thompson on Hits Radio while he was busy with I’m a Celebrity presenting duties, JB proved he has the charm, charisma, and ease to transition into traditional broadcast media.

“A regular role on morning TV could be the perfect fit, allowing him to connect with audiences while showcasing his natural warmth and likeability. Depending on the type of contracts he secures, each gig could see him earning multiple five-figure pay checks, which would quickly add up to a very lucrative new career.

“JB’s versatility doesn’t stop there. His approachable and engaging personality also makes him a strong contender for children’s TV. A deal with CBBC could easily cement him as a household favourite, appealing to younger audiences and their families. With his ability to cross demographics, JB has all the makings of a well-rounded broadcaster.

She added: “Beyond presenting, JB could follow in the footsteps of his bandmate Marvin Humes and his next big move might take him into the jungle. Following McFly’s Danny Jones’ success on this year’s I’m a Celebrity, ITV producers will likely be on the lookout for more boy band icons to capture the audience’s attention. JB would be a perfect fit, and such a stint could see him earning between £100,000 and £250,000.”

Sarah Hadland

Sarah could snag a role on West End theatre show 2:22 A Ghost Story, where the likes of Cheryl and Stacey Dooley have appeared. Kayley said: “With her newfound talent on the dancefloor and her successful acting career, Sarah’s future beyond the ballroom could see her blending these two skills to achieve West End success.

“If her time on Strictly has proven anything, it’s that she’s a natural entertainer, and the theatre would be the perfect stage to showcase her energy. I could easily see Sarah becoming a top pick for casting directors of hit productions like 2:22 A Ghost Story, which has previously featured big names such as Stacey Dooley, James Buckley, and even Cheryl Cole.

“With Cheryl Cole reportedly earning up to £750,000 for her role, Sarah might not command quite the same fee, but a six-figure deal would still be well within reach. Looking further ahead, I wouldn’t be surprised if Sarah made a return to acting in a brand-new production, and depending on what type of role she lands, she could be set for anything from a six or even seven figure deal.”
