Taylor Swift’s fans were thrilled to see one of the superstar’s ex’s turn up at Wembley to support her this week.
Her ex-boyfriend Taylor Lautner and his wife Taylor made an appearance at her seventh show at Wembley Stadium. The three Taylors have become great friends over the years since Swift and Lautner dated in 2009.
Lautner and Swift dated briefly before parting ways, which inspired Swift’s ‘Speak Now’ anthem ‘Back to December’, a tribute to their relationship. When Lautner was spotted enjoying the concert from the VIP area, fans hoped Swift would perform the song in her surprise set.
Unfortunately, she chose a different selection.
Nevertheless, it seems the Lautners had a fantastic time at the concert and fans adored their enthusiasm. The couple both shared photos of their matching friendship bracelets on their respective Instagram Stories, reports the Mirror.
The ‘Abduction’ actor wore an ‘Uncle Tay’ bracelet, along with ‘Speak Now’ jewellery and a ‘Twilight’-inspired ‘Loca’ bracelet. His wife, a nurse and mental health advocate, sported matching ‘Aunt Tay’ and ‘Speak Now’ bracelets.
The smitten pair are well-acquainted with the Eras Tour shenanigans. Swift roped in her ex-flame to make a surprise appearance at last year’s premiere of her ‘I Can See You’ music video in Missouri, where he starred alongside the pop sensation, Joey King and Presley Cash, all filmed on location in Liverpool.
The crowd went wild as Lautner cartwheeled onto the stage before sharing a heartfelt embrace with Swift. Bigging up Lautner, Swift told the audience: “He was a very positive force in my life when I was making the ‘Speak Now’ album.”
Swift continued by revealing their close bond: “He and his wife have become some of my close friends,” before quipping: “It is really convenient because we all have the same first name.”
