Alison Hammond has been tipped to say her goodbyes to This Morning after 22 years.
The telly fave first shot to fame back in the 2000s – thanks to her stint on Big Brother. Since then, it’s fair to say she’s not stopped – with her career skyrocketing in recent years.
From stints on Bake Off and This Morning to showing off her acting chops in a recent Pantomine, Alison is booked and busy. What’s more, she recently became the new host of For The Love Of Dogs, replacing the late Paul O’Grady.

And it seems Alison is not slowing down next year either. It was confirmed earlier this month that she is set to star in a new BBC show.
The series will follow the Brummie favourite spending 48 hours with some of the UK’s most-loved celebrities. Not only that, but Alison has also revealed she’s landed a travel show where she’ll be joined by her son, Aidan.
However, with all these projects that Alison is taking on, it’s been claimed the presenter could be saying her goodbyes to This Morning.
Alison joined the show back in 2002 – and recently, she bagged a full-time hosting gig on Fridays, alongside Dermot O’Leary. And since then, she’s become a firm favourite with This Morning viewers.
But that could all be changing soon for the “woman in demand” that is Alison. In exclusive odds provided by CasinoAlpha.com, the bookies have chalked up Alison at 6/1 to quit This Morning this year. For next year, the odds are 3/1.
A CasinoAlpha.com spokesperson said: “Alison Hammond is a woman in demand with the TV personality reportedly set to host multiple shows over the next 12 months. It could impact her work on This Morning and she is 6/1 to leave the show this year and 3/1 to go in 2025.”
What’s more, it’s also been claimed that Alsion has “always had plans for her next career move”. Speaking exclusively to Daily Star, Dom Aldworth, Head of Brand Marketing at Slingo said: “One position we could see Hammond consider leaving is her role on This Morning”.
The expert then pointed out her “very busy schedule” at the moment as a potential reason for her exit. Dom said: “She may want to distance herself from This Morning and establish herself as a leading lady, rather than just one presenter on This Morning.”
He added: “With the presenter always considering her next move, a fresh start away from This Morning could be in the cards in the new future.”
Whereas another PR expert, Rochelle White told the Daily Star that Alison is in “top form” at the moment” with “so many amazing opportunities are coming her way.” She explained: “With the Bake Off and also with her taking over For The Love of Dogs, she could leave This Morning to pursue more roles.
“She has always been very popular with views both online and in real life and because of that more shows and networks are taking notice and wanting to work with her.” The expert then added how: “It could be time for her to step away and take on another new challenge.”
This Morning airs weekdays on ITV1 at 10am
