Traitors winner Harry set for major career U-turn after quitting army ‘villain’ role

The Traitors winner Harry Clarke is set to quit the army to become a pantomime villain – oh no he isn’t, Oh yes he is!

The young corporal engineer, 23, wants to capitalise on his newfound fame by leaving his military engineer job to land a host of celebrity gigs. The self-proclaimed ‘World’s best Traitor’ said: “I want to work like a donkey this year and do everything I can.

“I’d love to do Panto as an evil villain. I would love to do more reality TV. I want to grab this opportunity with both hands.

“Strictly would be amazing. I’m not sure if I should say because it’s a rival channel but I’d love to do the Jungle the most.

“To go on I’m A Celeb after The Traitors would be incredible. I’ve always watched it as a kid and wanted to do it.

“My favourite part of The Traitors was completing the missions, so I’d want to do all the Jungle trials. I’d struggle with the eating ones though because I’m such a fussy eater.

“I don’t know how I would cope with eating sheep’s anus and crocodile c**k because all I eat is chicken nuggets and chips and turkey dinosaurs.”

Harry is making a career change

Harry won a whopping £95,150 on Friday’s gripping finale. But he told the Daily Star Sunday he hasn’t received a penny of his prize fund yet.

He said: “People think I’m loaded but I haven’t got a pot to p*ss in and am still borrowing money from my dad at the moment.”

The Traitors final was filmed back in August but Harry and his fellow cast have been sworn to secrecy until now. He added: “Keeping this a secret has been harder than lying to the Faithfulls’.

“As a 23-year-old who has just won nearly £100,000 I wanted to run down the street swinging my top off around my head screaming and shouting. But the only person I dared tell was my dad and my other half.”

Friday’s BBC final was watched live by 6.9 million viewers, with millions more expected to watch on BBC iplayer.
