Drake and Kendrick Lamar have been given the opportunity to settle their ongoing feud in a WWE ring, thanks to wrestling icon Shawn Michaels.
The WWE Hall of Famer has suggested an unconventional solution for the rappers’ rivalry, which has seen them exchange diss tracks: step into the wrestling ring.
Michaels extended the invitation to Drake and Kendrick on X this Monday, offering to host them on this week’s episode of WWE NXT. He even offered to mediate between the two, aiming to find a resolution. At 58, Michaels holds the position of Senior VP of Talent Development Creative, giving him full control over NXT.

There’s lots of quality news coming out of the US.
“A little Sweet Chin Music goes a long way,” he quipped on X, referring to his famous move.
The potential match-up has already sparked excitement among fans. One X user commented: “We need to settle this on NXT! ” Another expressed surprise at the unexpected invitation, saying: “If you told me Shawn Michaels would invite Drake and Kendrick to NXT I would laugh in your face,” reports the Express US.
Michaels has often landed in the middle of the continuing squabble between Drake and Kendrick, evident in the latter’s latest song “Not Like Us”. In it, the rapper from Compton remarks on the wrestler’s finishing move, stating: “Put the whole label on me, I’ma get ’em dropped, Sweet Chin Music and I won’t pass the aux.”
While it’s unlikely we’ll see Kendrick and Drake battling it out in the wrestling ring anytime soon, this Tuesday’s WWE NXT still brims with thrilling match-ups, like the title contest between Chelsea Green and Roxanne Perez.
