X Factor star recalls heartfelt moment with I’m A Celeb’s Tulisa that he’ll ‘never forget’

X Factor star Stevi Ritchie has spoken out to support former ITV judge Tulisa Contostavlor in the jungle.

The singer spoke exclusively to Daily Star as he spoke about Tulisa’s time in the jungle so far and how he’s backing her to the win show already. Stevi told us: “I do think Tulisa could win the show if not definitely a finalist, I’m in full support of her because what you see is what you get with her.

“I met Tulisa at London’s Heaven nightclub just after I came off the X factor 2014 and Tulisa was headlining that night and I was just on before her. During the night I got talking to Tulisa and she gave me advice and she said my personality was my strongest point and to stick with my personality as that would be my career.

“I thanked her and she was so nice, polite and down to earth. The advice I’d give Tulisa on her comeback is just to be her and stay being herself as she is so lovely and talented. I honestly wish her all the best.”

Stevi added: “Tulisa wasn’t actually a judge on my year but I did meet her a couple of times and had a lovely long chat. She’s great but no one beats my bro Simon Cowell. Simon rules and was so caring on the show, I don’t have a bad word said about him.

The singer also touched upon the support she has received from the likes of Rylan Clark after he defended the N-Dubz singer against trolls online who claimed she looked “unrecognisable”.

Stevi said: “I’m so happy Rylan has spoken up rightly so. Everyone has entitlement to what they do and how they feel and what they want. It’s not hurting no one. So I back Rylan all the way.

“She still looks great and amazing and she is the same person still and good hearted. Everyone goes through health issues and struggles. We are all human after all.

“People can judge a lot nowadays and have criticism but who are we to judge. Each to their own right? Social Media sometimes can be a horrible place but so have to be thick skinned.”

Stevi is also excited to be getting stuck into Panto again this year and will be performing at The Marina Theatre, Lowestoft, from 10th December – 1st January, as Gaston in Beauty and the Beast. For more info and tickets please visit here.
