Tammy Slaton has proudly flaunted the astonishing results of her weight loss journey and subsequent skin removal surgery, sending fans into a frenzy on social media. The 38-year-old star of TLC’s 1,000-lb Sisters has been showered with compliments and words of encouragement after sharing a string of photos showcasing her remarkable transformation.
Since bursting onto the scene in 2020 alongside her sister Amy Slaton on the hit reality show, Tammy’s journey has been nothing short of remarkable, with a reported weight loss of over 35 stone following bariatric surgery in 2022. The reality TV star has been diligent about keeping her fans updated on her progress, and her latest TikTok post has been met with widespread admiration.
The recent post, which featured a photo montage set to viral audio, included several selfies and full-body shots, including one of Tammy looking svelte in black shapewear and another of her posing in a yellow top, jeans, and a denim jacket. The viral clip declared: “I understood the assignment. Did the assigner of the assignment understood who they were assigning the assignment to? You know you’d have to ask the assigner on that one. Personally, I don’t think they did any research.”
Fans flooded the comments section with praise and admiration, with one fan gushing: “Absolutely loving this era of Tammy.”
Another fan chimed in: “So proud of you, Tammy!!! You look amazing and beautiful!” A third fan added: “You look so good Tam! I’m so proud of all your hard work,” reports the Mirror.
Another admirer gushed: “I am so freaking proud of you Tammy! You definitely understood the assignment you look great and most importantly you look so happy.”

Tammy has previously responded to remarks about her use of filters on her posts. Back in 2023, she retorted: “I keep seeing everybody say ‘stop using filters, stop using filters’. Listen, I am not trying to be rude, but it’s my profile. If I like using the filters, I will.”
The reality TV sensation, who hinted that followers could unfollow her if they disapproved of her content, also stated: “I don’t get it. I am proud of myself. I continue to post and show off my hard work.”
She queried: “So what I use a filter?”
Earlier this month, Tammy shared with her TikTok fans that “so much” has transformed over the years. Alongside a series of snaps, some featuring her posing with loved ones, she expressed her gratitude for the support she’s received.
She posted: “So much [has] changed about me over the years I couldn’t be more thankful and blessed to have the support and love not only from my fans/besties but my girlfriend and ofc my family this is my thank you for helping me keep going!!”
This new update follows last month’s revelation that Tammy underwent surgery to remove excess skin, a move she’d been awaiting for quite some time. Speaking with People magazine, she shared: “After six years and losing over 500 pounds, I was finally approved for surgery.”
The extensive procedure reportedly lasted eight hours, during which more than 15 lbs – over a stone – of excess skin was removed from her chin, arms, and lower stomach area.
