Adam Peaty and Holly Ramsay have left the UK just two days after they tied the knot in a lavish ceremony at Bath Abbey amid the ongoing Peaty family feud
Adam Peaty and Holly Ramsay have left the UK.
The newlyweds tied the knot on Saturday 27 December at Bath Abbey in front of friends and family, including Holly’s celebrity chef father Gordon Ramsay and pals David and Victoria Beckham.
Now, the Olympian and the model have jetted off on their honeymoon to celebrate their union. The Sun reported that they’d obtained pictures showing Adam and Holly leaving Gordon Ramsay’s London home on Monday afternoon with their luggage before making their way to the airport, reports the Mirror.
Adam and Holly are starting their honeymoon as Mr and Mrs Peaty-Ramsay as the pair decided to combine their surnames. This follows family friend Brooklyn Beckham, who added his wife Nicola Peltz’s surname to his own after their wedding day three years ago.
Like Peaty, the eldest Beckham has also had a falling out with his family. His wedding wasn’t without its drama as Peaty chose to leave out most of his family members, including his mum, from the guest list.
Adam’s mother Caroline has openly shared her heartbreak over being left out of her son’s special day and told Daily Mail: “I don’t think they understand how much they have hurt me; it’s as if they have cut my heart out.”
She continued to mourn the breakdown of her family unit: “This is the first Christmas that I’ve not had my family together, my family is broken. Yes, I have my other grandchildren. Yes, I have my other children, but my family is split because of the goings on…because of the wedding.”
