A Britain’s Got Talent star, who impressed Ant and Dec with her cheeky dance, has sadly died aged 34.
Chantel Bellew, a dancer who made it to the quarter finals of series 13, died in hospital just weeks after her 34th birthday. She was best known for her military themed dance routine which she performed with backup dancers.
Her costume was ripped apart by two men to reveal a cheeky Union Jack bodysuit underneath. She also taught Strictly star Anton Du Beke how to tapdance.
Chantel posted a clip of their lesson together on social media and wrote: “Great day teaching Anton some tap.”

In the wake of her death, Chantel’s heartbroken loved ones have decided to launch a GoFundMe page to help pay for the dancer’s funeral.
The page, titled Please Help Up Send Chantel Off In Style, paid tribute to the ITV star. They announced her death with the statement: “It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved Chantel.”
“As we navigate through this incredibly difficult time, we want to honour her life and the beautiful impact she had on everyone who knew her.”

“Chantel was more than a daughter, wife, sister, niece, cousin and friend. She was a kind, loving, and passionate spirit who brought joy and laughter to so many.”
“Chantel was a talent second to none who was the life and soul of every party, I am sure you will agree she was a character that nobody will ever forget.”
Her loved ones “would like to give Chantel the showbiz farewell she deserves” but sadly, “the costs associated with her funeral are significant”.

At the time of writing, the fundraiser has reached 98% of their target. Chantel loved to dance and performed in musicals, including 42nd Street and the UK tour of The Greatest Showman.
The former Britain’s Got Talent star also worked as a cruise ship entertainer and lived in Widnes, Cheshire.
