Victoria Beckham is set to release her new Netflix documentary in October but her eldest son Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz are not lined up to make an appearance
Victoria Beckham’s highly anticipated Netflix documentary is set to be released in October – but her eldest son Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz will not be part of it.
Despite the recent press reports of family feuds, the documentary is said to focus solely on Victoria’s transformation from pop sensation to fashion legend, straying away from family tensions in the process.
Sources indicate that Brooklyn and Nicola were never filmed for the four-part show. “The kids hardly feature, it’s not a cut of Brooklyn and Nicola. They weren’t involved initially,” an source commented.
The series rather concentrates on Victoria’s life and profession, scenes which promise “tears,” humour, and inspiration, as her highlight reels in David Beckham’s own Netflix documentary.
This follows Brooklyn and Nicola come amid reports of growing tensions within the Beckham clan. The couple were noticeably missing from David Beckham’s 50th birthday bash at the beginning of this year, which fuelled feud whispers.
Brooklyn is reported to have become distant from his younger brothers, Cruz and Romeo, with insiders claiming the rows were escalated further after Romeo blocked Brooklyn and Nicola on Instagram.
According to reports, Brooklyn was not aware of the unfollowing saga until seeing news of it on social media.
In other Beckham news, pop icon Elton John, the godfather of Brooklyn, intervened at a private lunch, according to sources. He took no sides, but urged reconciliation in a reportedly gentle manner.
“Elton is the showbiz equivalent of Switzerland,” the source said. “He’s not taking sides, but he loves everybody deeply and wants everybody to be happy.”
Singer Elton, who hung out with Brooklyn and Nicola in Cannes, has remained friendly towards the couple, enjoying Nicola’s sense of humour and staying close to them as a kind of “spiritual adviser.” Following his intervention, Victoria is said to have extended a low-key olive branch, possibly the first step towards healing within the family.
