Dani Dyer hits back at trolls after Celebrity SAS as she ‘doesn’t give a s***’

Love Island star Dani Dyer admits she used to ‘beat herself up over stuff’ but she’s now willing to stick up for herself after her time on Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins

Dani Dyer has won the war with internet trolls thanks to Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins.

The reality star who shot to fame on Love Island got a newfound confidence when she filmed the new series of the hit show. It means that when she gets abuse these days, it doesn’t get her down anymore.

Dani said: “It’s hard being in the public eye and I used to be a bit negative about myself. I’d really beat myself up over stuff.

“But when I was doing Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins, I learned not to give a s*** what people think about you. When you’re in the public eye, you’re told you have to shy away from negative comments. You’re told, ‘Don’t say anything’.

“But now if someone says something, I stick up for myself. When I see a mean comment that I don’t like, I will tell them I don’t like it.

“I have more belief in myself and I am a lot kinder to myself.” Dani went through hell during filming for the series. But she is thrilled she did it because it had such a profound effect on her.

She said: “This show is the hardest thing I’ve ever done in my entire life… both physically and mentally. It was exhausting. It tested me in ways I’ve never been tested before. But it was so worth it.

“It was the most amazing experience. It gave me a new outlook on what’s really important.”

Dani is nervous for fans to see the show when it starts airing next Sunday at 9pm on Channel 4. She said: “People will see a different side of me on this show. You’ll definitely see me at my most vulnerable.

“It is scary when you’re on a show like this. I wish it didn’t have to air on TV in a sense. But I had the best time.”

Dani was originally supposed to compete on this year’s Strictly Come Dancing. However, she was forced to pull out of the show due to an injury.

The villa alum is married to West Ham ace Jarrod Bowen. The pair share twin daughters Summer and Star – and Dani has son Santi from a previous relationship.
