The woman who claimed to be the mother of Dave Grohl’s love child was spotted out in New York City for the first time with the 7-month-old baby girl on Valentine’s Day
The woman alleged to be the mother of Dave Grohl’s secret child has finally broken her silence. Jennifer Young claimed she’s the mystery woman that the Foo Fighters frontman had a fling with, which resulted in an unexpected lovechild. The Florida native was caught on camera trotting through New York City on Valentine’s Day, cradling what appears to be their 7-month-old daughter.
Strolling along, Jennifer donned black trousers and a pair of Doc Martens. She kept the little one snug against her chest during the walk, with her green patterned jacket only partially zipped – a pair of sunnies dangled from the zip. She pleaded with Page Six to leave the tot’s name under wraps “because there’s some really angry fans.”
Jennifer insisted: “Protecting her identity is really important.”
With her blonde tresses clipped back and toting a brown paper bag, Jennifer was also seen tapping away on her iPhone with nails lacquered red, reports the Mirror US. The child’s face was out of shot; however, the little one was decked out in a red beanie and matching booties.
And as for Grohl, he wasn’t seen by her side, but he’s rumoured to have been in the Big Apple for the romantic holiday. When he shared news of his child with this enigmatic woman, he promised to “be a loving and supportive parent to her.”
The outlet also snapped pics of Jennifer on a recent jaunt in Los Angeles, where she was spotted in a crisp white tee and black biker shorts, teaming the sporty ensemble with fresh white trainers.
Jennifer wasn’t shy about flaunting her inked-up arms, putting her badass tats out there for the world to see. In a candid Instagram confession, Dave spilled the beans about his secret baby last year, penning: “I’ve recently become the father of a new baby daughter, born outside of my marriage. I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her. I love my wife and my children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness. We’re grateful for your consideration toward all the children involved, as we move forward together.”
The state of Dave’s union with his wife, Jordyn Blum, is still hanging by a thread after whispers of them scouting for divorce barristers hit the streets. However a source told People:: “He’s no longer working with a divorce attorney and instead hoping to work things out with his wife.”
