Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Denise Richards and her daughter Sami Sheen both have spicy accounts and the pair have now opened up about what their one rule is
Denise Richards has revealed that she and her daughter Sami Sheen have one rule for their spicy accounts.
The 20-year-old first joined the adult platform in June 2022 when she was 18. Seeing the success her oldest child was having, the former Bond girl decided she’d have a go too. And, ever since, the pair have been regularly grabbing the headlines with racy antics and stories of in-family fighting over Sami’s decision to get saucy at such a young age.
Sami is the eldest daughter of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star and her ex-husband and controversial actor Charlie Sheen who, at the time, was not impressed by the move.
She sparked a furore when she went topless, drawing criticism from people including her recovering sex and drug addict dad.
But in the ultimate show of motherly support, Denise swiftly stepped up and stripped off alongside her daughter, and told her 14 million Instagram followers that she was also joining the site.
While the pair have often talked candidly about their lives in front of the lens, and have always had each other’s back, they admitted to one rule they do have.
They do not go onto each other’s pages.
Sami told People: “No, that would be weird,” while her mother added, “Yes, we draw a line there.”
When Sami joined the site, it was purely a for financial reasons. “I really wanted to get an apartment, and I knew that working at the candy shop I was working at wasn’t going to cut it,” she said. So she admitted to taking the plunge with the content creation.
Now walking tall two years on, Sami sees her lingerie modelling work afford her monthly rent.
“It opened so many doors for me and I’ve met really cool people doing it, and it’s been really rewarding being my own boss and making my own hours and being able to do the things I’ve always wanted to do,” Sami said.
“I have a pretty structured routine now. It is just adding in different outfits or if my subscribers request specific things or I’ll talk to other girls or watch videos to get different ideas.”
Denise also revealed why she decided to start her own account. “I really did it because I didn’t understand what it was,” Richards, 54, told the outlet.
“I had heard of it… and when I saw that Sami was getting so much backlash, it really upset me as a mom and also as a woman in this business.”
Denise said that it bothered her that Sami was getting “backlash for owning her own sexuality”. As for her experience on the site, she said: “I’m grateful if someone wants to see my [breasts].”
