Fans of ITV soap Emmerdale have some dramatic episodes coming up, with spoilers teasing developments when it comes to Liam’s attack and the death of Nate Robinson
Emmerdale viewers are in for a rocky week as the Nate Robinson mystery heats up.
Nate’s family lost contact with him last year and he was thought to have left the Dales and headed to Shetland for work. While they’ve been thinking that he has cut off contact, Nate (Jurell Carter) has actually been dead the entire time.
John Sugden – who was the last person to see him alive – had been under a cloud of suspicion and we now know that he did kill Nate and then threw his body in the lake. Now spoilers have suggested that the net could soon be tightening around the killer, who is played by Oliver Farnworth.
In episodes of the ITV soap set to air next week, Nate’s dad Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) decides that it is time to find his son. He calls him to leave a message, and to his surprise the call is briefly picked up.
Of course it was John who picked up and he slammed it down fast. But the slip up could prove to be costly, as Cain is determined to find Nate and sort things out.
John is in a panic when he hears what Cain is doing, but a soap source told Digital Spy that the dad “won’t stop until he’s found Nate”.
“But as Cain starts digging, John’s on the backfoot, desperately trying to cover his tracks – and he’s in danger of his twisted charade falling apart,” the insider went on.
Elsewhere, Sarah Sugden (Katie Hill) makes a life-changing decision. After giving it some thought, Sarah – who has battled her share of health issues – decides that what she really wants is to have a baby.
Opening up to Vanessa Woodfield (Michelle Hardwick), she reveals her plans. And she tells Vanessa that she is hoping to have IVF in order to get pregnant.
The Liam attack story will also see some developments in the coming episodes. Liam (Jonny McPherson) has been viciously attacked and viewers will see him being discovered unconscious.
However, he pulls through and it looks as if police have identified the culprit when Ella Forster (Paula Lane) is accused of the brutal crime. But there is a twist when it’s revealed that it couldn’t have been Ella after all.
Police tell Liam that Ella has a watertight alibi, leaving everyone left wondering who could have had a reason to hurt Liam.
