EXCLUSIVE: Gogglebox icon Joe Baggs has lifted the lid on what some of the All Stars Islanders are really like off-screen as he shared his thoughts on the ITV show
Gogglebox star Joe Baggs revealed who his favourites are on ITV’s Love Island All Stars as the grand finale draws close.
The telly star, 27, who shot to fame on the hit Channel 4 series has shared his thoughts on some of this years’ All Stars contestants. Joe told us: “I live for Harriett [Blackmore]! I am literally her biggest fan, everyone knows it!”
Before he revealed which other star “surprised” him after meeting him in person. Joe added: “Do you know what, Ronnie [Vint] really surprised me in real life, he was well charming and I do think this is real from him you know. I wanted them to win.
Joe has also had some love life updates of his own after moving out of the Baggs household and into a love nest with his actor partner, Kaine Ruddach. We also spoke to social media star Kaine, 26, who opened up about the couple’s meet-cute. He told us: “We met through a mutual friend at a birthday party and we have literally never spent a day apart since. We were connected at the hip straight away.
“Thank god, because he nearly actually left the party in a cab, and then hopped out last minute to ‘shoot his shot’ with me, which basically consisted of him standing shoulder to shoulder awkwardly with me until I spoke to him.”
But after recently moved into their new home – we wondered if it had all gone smooth sailing? Kaine answered: “Everything has gone super smooth, the only thing that is really annoying me is he refuses to load the dishwasher, he claims its because he ‘always does it wrong’ so says Terry Baggs, so now he has dishwasher loading phobia and I am getting the brunt of it! That’s literally it so far, think we’ve been very lucky.”
However, things haven’t gone by without a total hitch, as Joe found a ringbox in Kaine’s wardrobe which he assumed was for him to pop the question to him – but oh, how he was wrong.
We asked Joe how he felt after stumbling upon the box, to which he said: “To be fair, I was more shocked than anything, then I panicked and starting flapping around trying to make sure I put it back in the exact same spot, and couldn’t remember and got in a right hot mess.
“When I saw him pull it out to film the brand content it was needed for, I literally died laughing. Like on the floor. Dead. We were in stiches when I was telling him.”
