EXCLUSIVE: Gogglebox star Joe Baggs has shared his future telly plans as she opens up about his relationship with partner Kaine Ruddach – who we could be seeing more of soon
Gogglebox star Joe Baggs has revealed the show could be set for a shakeup soon.
Joe, who has recently been dishing out his hot takes on other shows, first shot to fame on the Channel 4 show with his family which consists of mum, Lisa, dad, Terry, and brother George.
The Essex-based foursome joined the show during series 16 in 2020 but after a two year stint, the Baggs announced that they’d be leaving. But now as Joe has moved into his own place with his boyfriend and actor Kaine Ruddach, it looks like he could be returning to the show.
When asked if he would like to do Gogglebox in his new household, Joe exclusively said: “Oh my god Gogglebox at home with Kaine would be such a dream, imagine us with our little Jellycats all around us would be so cute.”
His partner Kaine also agreed and added: “I would love to do this with Joe I think we would both be open to the idea we absolutely love show.” After recently moving in together, Kaine shared that things had mostly gone without a hitch, until it came to some of Joe’s cleaning habits.
Kaine shared: “Everything has gone super smooth, the only thing that is really annoying me is he refuses to load the dishwasher, he claims its because he ‘always does it wrong’ so says Terry Baggs, so now he has dishwasher loading phobia and I am getting the brunt of it! That’s literally it so far, think we’ve been very lucky.”
The pair first met outside a friend’s party, where Joe stood next to Kaine long enough in the hope he would speak to him. Kaine laughed: “We met through a mutual friend at a birthday party and we have literally never spent a day apart since. We were connected at the hip straight away
“Thank god, because he nearly actually left the party in a cab, and then hopped out last minute to ‘shoot his shot’ with me, which basically consisted of him standing shoulder to shoulder awkwardly with me until I spoke to him.”
Joe also opened up about other TV work he’s focusing on and took the chance to praise ITV legend Lorraine Kelly. He shared: “I’ve been doing a tonne of new bits with ITV Lorraine, honestly that woman is absolute gold. She has such a wicked sense of humour and I’m teaching her how to Tik Tok, its hilarious.”
