Jeremy Clarkson has shown off a seriously gruesome injury on social media after snapping a picture and informing fans that he’d been playing a rather “dangerous” sport
Jeremy Clarkson has flaunted a rather grim injury to his fans.
The man behind the hit show “Clarkson’s Farm” took to social media with a gory image of his hand, all bloodied up after a rough game of pickleball with mates.
He accompanied the graphic photo, which showed his blood-stained hand along with a pickleball paddle, with the caption: “Turns out pickleball is bloody dangerous.”
Followers flooded the comments section with a mix of concern and amusement. One follower quipped: “He survived car crashes, third world road trips, farming accidents, but it was pickle ball that did him in.”
Another pointedly remarked: “You are not supposed to hit the ball with your hand, Jeremy.” A third chimed in: “I bet he said before the game ‘How hard can it be?'”
Others asked “how on earth he’d managed that” while someone else cheekily joked that the Top Gear star should “maybe stick to car based sports”.
Jeremy’s newest mishap follows some serious health woes. Back in October, the TV star underwent a heart procedure and had a stent inserted following a scare, reports the Mirror.
He shed light on the frightening experience, recalling that he had “clammy” skin, chest tightness, and “pins and needles in his left arm,” which led him to rush to the doctor then onto John Radcliffe Hospital via an ambulance.
Despite initial fears, medical tests including an ECG, blood work, and X-rays discounted a heart attack. Nonetheless, he was taken into surgery where doctors indicated he was just “days away” from grave illness.
“It seems that of the arteries feeding my heart with nourishing blood, one was completely blocked and the second of three was heading that way…it wasn’t especially painful. Just odd,” he shared about his health scare.
Earlier in the year, Jeremy Clarkson gave fans an update on his well-being, saying he’s feeling “very well”. While working on his popular series Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? he discussed recent lifestyle changes.
The presenter said: “My phone flashed up this morning saying: ‘You are taking far fewer steps this week than last’. I thought: ‘Yeah I would be as I am sitting here’. It also says you are eating far fewer sausages. I just sit here and eat celery. I am feeling better on it. I do feel very well.”
“I have been to see a dietician. The dietician has given me a pretty good list and said: ‘don’t eat processed food’. If it’s got more than one ingredient in it, don’t eat it. I feel great.”
