Katie Price breaks silence on JJ Slater ‘split’ as she sets record straight with snap

Katie Price has taken to social media to share a very telling snap of herself and boyfriend JJ Slater, after it was reported that the couple have called time on their romance

Katie Price seems to have had her fill of the gossip about her romantic escapades, as the mother-of-five took to social media with a pointed update on her relationship with JJ Slater.

This comes in the wake of claims from pals suggesting he’s packed his bags and they’ve split.

This week saw the rumour mill churn out whispers that Katie, 47, and reality TV alum JJ Slater, 31, had called time on their romance. Closer magazine reported that the duo had “gone their separate ways” amid chatter that JJ had “packed his bags and moved out”.

Yet, Katie has seemingly put a stop to the speculation by sharing a snap with JJ taking centre stage. On her Instagram stories, she posted a photo showing JJ at work on a laptop.

The shot was taken during a glam session for Katie, who was getting dolled up with hair and makeup. There, at the table, was JJ, indicating that their love tale is far from over.

The pair struck up a romance at the tail end of 2023, and despite a rollercoaster of emotions, it was whispered just this week that Katie had become ‘bored’ and JJ had lost his lustre, reports the Mirror.

“Katie and JJ have decided to go their separate ways, with JJ having already packed his bags and moved out. Ultimately, Katie’s gotten bored. Friends and family had been warning JJ for a while that he’d lost his sparkle and that she treated him like a doormat,” an insider spilled to Closer.

The insider revealed that Katie isn’t fazed by her newly single status and has plenty of admirers trying to catch her attention, even jokingly comparing men to handbags with a friend.

They said: “JJ has seen the messages, DM’s sliding in and out from other men, Katie isn’t upset. She even joked with her pal, ‘new house, new start! I change men like handbags, but handbags are more useful!’ He’s gutted, but Katie claims she has not been unfaithful or been going behind his back and sexting other men.”

Commenting on Katie’s love life, the source noted: “Katie loves the excitement of the chase and being chased. If it’s naughty, then she’s in.”

They added: “She craves the dopamine rush and is a self-confessed addict to anything that gives her a rush and instant gratification. She lives for her next hit, and sadly, JJ is just another statistic of collateral damage.”

Recently, Katie was snapped getting close to several shirtless men while on holiday in Ibiza, actions that are said to have left JJ concerned about their relationship. “She can’t help but flirt and cosy up to people, it’s the life she’s always led,” an insider divulged to OK!

The former glamour model was seen partying with notorious ex-UFC champion Conor McGregor, ‘EastEnders’ star Dean Gaffney, and club tycoon Wayne Lineker, owner of the famous O Beach club on the island.

Katie hinted at potential issues in her relationship with JJ during a May interview on Paul C Brunson’s podcast, where she shared concerns about being overly attached to her beau and ignoring her friends.

She confessed: “When you meet someone, it’s natural to want to be with them all the time. Then the mistakes I’ve made in the past are then you’re with them all the time.”

She added with apprehension: “I’m a bit worried that I’ve got like that with JJ.”
