BAFTA host and Doctor Who actor David Tennant couldn’t resist poking fun at Kylie Jenner as she sat down for the 2025 film ceremony with boyfriend Timothee Chalamet
BAFTA host David Tennant poked fun at Kylie Jenner and actor boyfriend Timothee Chalamet as the pair sat front row at the swanky awards ceremony.
The Scottish actor, who is hosting the biggest night in UK film, couldn’t resist taking a swipe at the Keeping Up With The Kardashians queen, 27, and her award-nominated lover Timothee, 29.
Starting off with a tease, David announced: “Here is someone else who deserves a special mention. We’re very lucky enough to be joined tonight by the runner-up in the recent Timothee Chalamet lookalike contest in New York.
“Welcome to the BAFTAs.” This was a nod to the 2024 unofficial ‘lookalike’ contest that went super viral on social media, where many floppy-haired lads battled it out for a small cash prize.
Hilariously, Chalamet even turned up himself – and ended up coming second with his ‘likeness’, reports the Express.
Back to tonight and David then reached out to shake Timothee’s hand before he jokingly added: “There is a definite likeness there.”
The host continued: “How long are you in London?” Timothee, who is nominated for ‘Leading Actor’ in film ‘A Complete Unknown’ replied that he would be in the capital for “three days.”
David didn’t miss a beat, suggesting he brush up on his accent because it ‘wasn’t quite there,’ then flipped his banter towards his girlfriend Kylie, quipping that she was a Kylie Jenner double rather than the real deal
“Good attention to detail,” the host of the lavish bash joked. “You’re with a Kylie Jenner lookalike.”
Kylie looked blankly ahead before she pointed to herself, ensuring everyone knows she’s no impersonator, before giggling away the gag.
Tennant earlier took a swipe at US President Donald Trump where he referred to him as a ‘villain’ and fretted that he was going to ‘summon’ the orange manbaby after saying his name three times.
