Three-time Love Island star Toby Aromolaran branded his relationship with ex Chloe Burrows “perfect” just days before she unveiled her hunky new man.

The duo met on Love Island in 2021, but split in October 2022. Since then, Toby has returned for Love Island Games and Love Island: All Stars – and even suggested he’d have gone back this year for one particular lady.

But if that girl was Chloe, he’s out of luck, as the podcast host just gone public with her new love interest, Ruben Moreira. Before then, though, Toby spoke very fondly of his time with Chloe.

Speaking via Genting Casino, Toby, 25, said of their relationship: “I was angry after it finished and I went through the hate stage but that relationship was fantastic and we had a great time. It was basically perfect and I wouldn’t change it for the world.

“That relationship is a part of me and I’ll carry what I had with Chloe for the rest of my life. People say this about Love Island relationships.

“The connection is deep so I’ll feel connected to Chloe for the rest of my life. She might not be in my life, but she’ll always be a part of my life.”

Back in 2023, just a year after their split, Chloe appeared on Celebs Go Dating trying to find love. With the break-up relatively fresh, she broke down on camera talking about it.

“He was probably the nicest boy I’d ever been with. But the connections you form [in the Love Island villa], you can’t replicate in real life,” she said.

“When he said, ‘This isn’t working,’ I was really heartbroken for months.” She then burst into tears, adding: “I was heartbroken. Things fell apart a bit and we both knew. I’m not going to beg someone to stay with me.”

However it seems that heartache is over for the 29-year-old as she unveiled her new man to fans for the first time. Chloe’s new man is friends with Liam Reardon.

It means she could enjoy double dates with Liam and girlfriend Millie Court, who is Chloe’s best friend. It’s believed that Chloe and Ruben’s romance started earlier this year after being in Australia together, along with Liam and Millie and other friends.
