McFly’s Danny Jones is reportedly scared his career could be on the rocks after he was caught on camera ‘kissing’ Maura Higgins.
The pop star, married to Georgia Horsley since 2014 and dad to their seven-year-old son Cooper, foudn himself in the headlines after the swanky BRIT Awards bash on March 1.
While Danny rocked up to the awards do with bandmate Tom Fletcher, he flew solo at the afterparty where the ‘kiss’ with Love Island bombshell and I’m A Celeb co-star Maura reportedly unfolded.
Neither Danny, Maura, or Georgia have spoken about the encounter yet, but whispers from a source close to Danny suggests he’s worrying that his time in the limelight might be at risk. They revealed: “Earlier today, Georgia broke her silence by posting a picture of Cooper, their son. But I don’t think we can get too excited. We need to remember that in the past two weeks, two videos have emerged online of Danny and Maura spending the night of the BRITs together.
“Georgia is likely trying to resume some normality because she has other engagements that she has to fulfil. Danny has been too silent and I believe this is because he’s expecting it to pass and he can resume his career like normal. Danny has been more concerned to family and friends that his career is coming to an end, when he should be caring about his marriage to his wife and his son.
“It’s time for Danny to explain to his fans and audience what has happened and to own his mistakes,” reports the Mirror.
Georgia recently broke her silence with a touching black-and-white photo of their son, accompanied by a simple blue heart emoticon dedicated to their child.
Her supporters quickly showed solidarity in the comments. “Love you. what a lucky boy he is to have a mummy like you xxxxxx,” one fan gushed, while another sent encouragement: “Hope you’re okay Georgia, you’ve got this.”
A third admirer cheered: “YES GIRL! ! ! Lovely to see Coops a post from you. You’ve got this.”
Another chimed in with support: “So nice to see you back posting. We’re all behind you and love you so much.”
Meanwhile, as reported earlier, Georgia skipped her usual Monday podcast with Kelsey Parker and withdrew from work duties following the scandal involving Danny’s kiss with Maura, leaving sources to reveal she was uncertain on how to address the public about the betrayal.
