Ozzy Osbourne seen in adorable family video just two days before his death

Ozzy Osbourne was seen in a video shared by his daughter Kelly Osbourne just two days before his death, in which he was seen spending time with his family

Ozzy Osbourne was captured enjoying precious moments with his family in footage posted just two days before his death. The clip has garnered widespread attention this week following news of the rock legend’s death on Tuesday (July 22).

His daughter Kelly Osbourne, 40, posted the video on her Instagram Story on July 20, just 48 hours before the Black Sabbath icon’s death. The footage showed Ozzy using a tablet while seated at a table alongside his youngest daughter and her two-year-old son Sidney.

The trio were filmed having breakfast together, with newspapers clearly visible on the table before them. Kelly opened the clip by greeting viewers: “Good morning,” before turning the camera towards her father.

Kelly affectionately called Ozzy “dadda” during the clip, as he sat wearing a pair of headphones. She later prompted him: “Say good morning!” When encouraged to speak to viewers, Ozzy leaned forward and cheerfully responded: “Good morning!”

The touching footage has since been widely circulated by fans across social media this week, particularly after the announcement of Ozzy’s death by his family. One TikTok post alone has already amassed over 2million likes, reports the Mirror.

Kelly was among the family members who confirmed Ozzy’s passing in a statement released. The announcement bore the signatures of his wife Sharon and four of his children – Louis Osbourne, Aimee Osbourne, Jack Osbourne and Kelly.

The statement read: “It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning. He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family privacy at this time. Sharon, Jack, Kelly, Aimee and Louis.”

News of his passing sparked an outpouring of tributes, including from his former Black Sabbath bandmates, with whom he had recently reunited for a farewell concert in Birmingham. Flowers have since been placed on the bench and bridge commemorating the band in the city, with fans flocking to the area.

Tony posted: “I just can’t believe it! My dear dear friend Ozzy has passed away only weeks after our show at Villa Park. It’s just such heartbreaking news that I can’t really find the words, there won’t ever be another like him. Geezer, Bill and myself have lost our brother. My thoughts go out to Sharon and all the Osbourne family. Rest in peace Oz.”
