‘Super Bowl morons boobed over Taylor Swift and target Donald Trump for one reason’

EXCLUSIVE: The Super Bowl created a whole list of shocking moments this year. But the Philadelphia Eagles vs Kanas City Chiefs game turned sour when fans began to boo Taylor Swift – we hear from a Swiftie

A woman who is one of Taylor Swift’s ‘biggest’ fans slammed Eagles supporters for booing the pop superstar – and said they should have booed Trump instead.

Summer, from Scotland, has been a huge fan of the 14-time Grammy Award winning US singer-songwriter since becoming ‘hooked’ after listening to her on the radio with her Nashville-born nan.

The plus size model, who boasts 27,000 followers on Instagram, has ‘grown up’ alongside Swift and her music, with lyrics penned by the billionaire aiding Summer through different parts of her life.

Like many of the Swifties (Swift’s fans), Summer has been left appalled after the musician – who is dating Kansas City Chiefs player Travis Kelce – was booed when featured on a screen at the Super Bowl over the weekend.

In defence of her idol, Summer told us: “I think the small minded men who were booing Taylor Swift should be ashamed of themselves.

“No matter if they were booing her for being Travis Kelce’s girlfriend or not, Taylor has sang about being an Eagles fan and has been one for the longest time so that in itself should gain some respect.

“She is just a girl supporting her boyfriend playing the biggest game of his career, these men booing her were real quiet when they showed a literal sex predator on the screen, president or not.

“That speaks more to their character than anything else.

“I think she was booed because the state America is in right now, men blaming woman for their own incompetence. A misogynist running the country is making like minded smaller misogynistic men think they have the right to harass women.”

Summer is referring to the US President being found liable of defamation and sexual abuse of writer E. Jean Carroll in a civil case, which Trump outright dismissed and is appealing both. He was ordered to pay Carroll $5million in damages for her allegations dating back to 1996.

He was also found guilty of falsifying business records, making him the first US President to be a convicted criminal.

The Swiftie therefore believes that the onslaught of boos should have been directed at Trump, whose attendance marked the first ever appearance of a sitting US president at the Super Bowl.

After the game, Trump posted on social media: “The only one that had a tougher night than the Kansas City Chiefs was Taylor Swift. She got BOOED out of the Stadium. MAGA is very unforgiving!”

Despite the ‘Shake It Off’ singer doing just that by giving a pantomime-esque ‘side eye’ at the baying Eagles fans, many have accused the incident of having misogynistic undertones.

Some who have said to have been peddled by Trump himself, who referred to Swift as a ‘childless cat lady’ when she showed her support for Kamala Harris in the run-up to the election.

Summer said: “I would tell them to take a look at their daughters, their wives and their sisters. Imagine thousands upon thousands of grown men treated them like that when they were simply trying to enjoy their time at a special event.

“Billionaire or not, that experience would affect anyone.

“Also to remember, Taylor Swift could buy that stadium and turn it into anything she wants so, watch out. It is the time for Reputation after all…”

It was only in October of last year when Swift sold out the Caesars Superdome, the venue of the Super Bowl 2025, with her record-breaking ‘Eras Tour’.

The outside of the stadium was decorated in a huge friendship bracelet to mark the three-night stint in New Orleans. However, only four months later, the star has got a very different reception.

Fan Summer, who attended the Eras Tour in the UK, thinks that that Eagles fans should be “embarrassed” about their behaviour and treatment of the pop icon.

Summer concluded: “I don’t think there’s anything anyone can do for it.

“You can’t punish freedom of speech no matter how ridiculous it is. I think they should just be embarrassed of how they conducted themselves.”
