Strictly host Tess Daly has jetted off to Dubai to soak up the sun and hasn’t been shy in showing off her golden tan and timeless beauty in a plunging turquoise swimsuit
Tess Daly, the host of Strictly Come Dancing, has been spotted flaunting her fabulous figure while taking a dip in Dubai.
The 55-year-old TV presenter, who often wows her followers, has swapped the chilly British winter for the warm sun of the United Arab Emirates. Tess, who is a mother to two daughters with husband Vernon Kay, showcased her golden tresses and matching tan to her 874,000 Instagram followers.
She was seen posing in a low-cut turquoise swimsuit while sitting on the edge of an infinity pool with a view of Dubai’s skyline. Tess co-owns the beachwear brand Naia Beach and has been keeping her fans updated about the brand’s new collection for 2025.
In another photo, the star flashed her radiant smile while standing in the pool. She captioned the post: “Wish it could be a @naia_beach day, every day.”
Her followers were quick to compliment her, with one saying: “Great photos, you look wonderful”, as another fan said: “The style, shape and colour is beautiful,” reports the Mirror.
Tess’s celebrity friends also chimed in, with her BBC co-host Claudia Winkleman posting a series of red heart emojis and It Takes Two host Fleur East adding a flame and heart eyes emoji. The future of Tess and Claudia on Strictly was recently revealed amidst several scandals hitting the BBC show.
There were concerns that other broadcasters might try to poach the duo by offering them lucrative deals.
TV insiders have suggested that the presenting duo’s new, more lucrative contract demonstrates their commitment to the show and their relationship with the BBC. It’s been reported that the pair were offered an “enhanced” contract by the bosses.
“They’re looking to the future after the past 12 months which have been dogged by claims of misbehaviour behind the scenes by pros Giovanni Pernice and Graziano di Prima,” a source revealed to The Sun. They further added: “Now bosses want to draw a line under this troubled chapter in Strictly’s history and focus on the positives – which includes having two women fronting the biggest show on TV, which is something the BBC are very proud of.”
The new contracts also demonstrate the “commitment the corporation has to the show,” according to the publication. Claudia, who initially presented It Takes Two before joining Tess on Strictly, previously disclosed the lengths she would go to, to ensure her continued presence on the show.
She humorously remarked: “They’d still have to prise my cold, dead hands off that shiny Glitterball.”
