James Jordan has 'broken heart' as dad rushed to hospital after suffering stroke

Strictly Come Dancing star James Jordan has revealed his beloved father has been rushed to hospital after suffering a stroke for a second time.

The professional dancer, who is married to co-star Ola Jordan, said he had a “broken heart” over the news.

In a statement released over Twitter, James fumed at the “selfish idiots” sunbathing in parks as temperatures soared in the UK.

Heartbroken over his father’s health condition, James admitted he cannot visit him in the ward due to coronavirus restrictions.

He said: “I have a broken heart again as my dad has been rushed back to hospital after suffering another stroke. I would love to go & see him & hold his hand but no-one can.

“Or go and hug my mum, yet people think it’s ok to go to parks to sunbathe etc. Stay at home you selfish idiots!!”

James’ fans flooded the thread, letting him know his father would be in their thoughts during his family’s devastating ordeal.

On March 12, James asked his followers to say a prayer for his father when he was rushed into the emergency ward after suffering a stroke.

Admitting he feared to lose him, he wrote: “Hi guys, I’ve been in hospital since 7.30 this morning where my hero and dad was rushed in after having a stroke and seizures.

“Sitting with him now and I’m asking if you could all say a little prayer for him. I’m not ready to lose him! Love to all of you.”

In the following days, the BBC star kept fans up to date with his father’s condition, revealing his health was improving gradually.
