Stacey Solomon gets emotional as she talks reunion with mum and sister

Stacey Solomon, who is an open book when it comes to her Instagram page, was sharing her excitement today about being able to reunite with her mum and sister on Monday.

The Loose Women star, 30, shared a post as she came back to Instagram after “putting her phone away” for the day yesterday.

Joe Swash’s other half said she was feeling “lazy” but also she is “excited because as of Monday I can see my mum and sister”.

She finished her sentence with a crying face emoji, clearly emotional over the fact that she can soon be reunited with more of her loved ones, as Prime Minister Boris Johnson eases the coronavirus lockdown rules.

In last night’s press conference, Johnson said groups of six people from different households are allowed to meet up as of Monday, as long as it’s outside and groups adhere to keeping two metres apart.

It’s been an emotional week for former X Factor star Stacey, because as well as getting the news that she’ll soon be able to meet up with her mum and sister, her youngest son Rex took his first steps.

Stacey marked Rex’s big milestone with a video of the tot, who she shares with Joe, beaming as he walked for the first time.

The TV star captioned the adorable video: “And he’s off. Oh pickle. Honestly I am sobbing. If there’s one good thing to come out of these scary hard times it’s that mummy and daddy both being home to see this moment.

“Rex we are so proud of you. Oh my goodness it feels like time is going by at the blink of an eye and you’re growing so so quickly. It’s sad and I want time to stand still for a moment but at the same time watching you learn grown is the most incredible, most wonderful thing in the world.

“If anyone needs me I’ll be in the egg chair with 100 Daim bars sobbing into Rex’s baby book. Love you all.”
