The search for Naya Rivera is continuing today but rescuers are fearing that her body may never be found as they fear she “could be tangled in something” at the bottom of the lake.
Naya, who is a 33-year-old mother-of-one, is presumed dead after the Glee star vanished on a lake where her son was found asleep and alone on a boat on Wednesday.
A frantic search operation was launched after her four-year-old son, Josey Dorsey, was found alone on a rented boat at Lake Piru, California.
The star most known for her role in Glee, had rented the boat at around 1pm on Wednesday afternoon.
Her son was then discovered on his own just before 5pm and according to reports, the youngster told cops his mum had “jumped into the water but didn’t come back up”.

The alarm was raised and a search operation launched using helicopters, drones and dive teams, police said.
But tragically Naya still hasn’t been found and yesterday officials switched their mission from search and rescue to a recovery operation.
Cops have said it is unclear how long it could take to find a body in the murky water, but have said Naya is presumed dead.

If the star’s body is “entangled in something under the water, the body might never come up,” Sergeant Kevin Donoghue said.
The sergeant said during a press conference that Naya’s four-year-old said the pair of them had been swimming in the lake.
Naya’s son, Josey Hollis Dorsey — who was found alone on their rental boat on Wednesday afternoon, said he returned to the boat but his mother did not.

Her child “gave enough information to investigators to conclude that Naya never made it out of water,” Donoghue said.
Investigators with the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office said more than 100 personnel were searching for the actress after she vanished in what they said “may well be a case of drowning”.
The actress might have “drowned in what appears to be a tragic accident,” Sergeant Donoghue said during a press conference.
