Simon Cowell has been seen out and about with his family for the first time since his back surgery.
The 61-year-old Britain’s Got Talent and X Factor judge suffered a painful injury earlier this year after a freak electric bike accident which saw him break his back.
The scary ordeal occurred at the beginning of August, when Simon fell off his bicycle while riding around the courtyard of his Malibu abode.
As a result of the horrific incident, Simon was forced to pull out of judging the latest series of Britain’s Got Talent.
In brand new pictures, Simon looked much better as he ventured out to the shops alongside his partner Lauren Silverman and their son Eric.

The family wore masks as they walked outdoors together, Simon back on his feet outside after months of staying at home and recovering.
The television star wore a dark T-shirt and white shorts like his son, and he seemed relaxed as the family walked along the streets of Malibu.
The family were out in California, enjoying a shopping spree in the sunshine.
Lauren, 43, and Eric, six, have kept Simon company at home as he received round the clock care after his back surgery.

Last week, footage of Simon emerged for the first time since his injury as he celebrated turning 61.
Simon’s spirits seemed to be high as he blew out the candles on his birthday cake, in footage shared by friend Terri Seymour, 48.
Eric could be seen running around the kitchen, thrilled to give his beloved father the delicious birthday cake.

The little one skipped into the room singing “Happy Birthday” to his dad, then the camera filmed Simon who was beaming with delight.
Simon was resting in a chair while Lauren sat beside him at the head of the table.
Referring to Simon’s health-conscious diet, she remarked: “Second cake that you’re not allowed to eat but at least the kids can have it!”
