Tipping Point fans were left in stitches on Monday as contestant Charlie made an hysterical blunder on a music question.
During the third round of the quiz show, host Ben Shephard asked the player: “Who sung the lead vocal on Sigala’s 2018 UK top ten hit Lullaby?”
With no multiple choice answers likes previous rounds, Charlie was forced to think on his feet in order to get through to the final.
Racking his brain through some modern singers, the stumbling contestant guessed that the answer was pop sensation Justin Bieber but got his surname completely wrong.
Charlie said: “I don’t know, it’s modern music and I’m an old man. I’ll have to go for Justin Beaver.”
Confused host Ben asked: “Beaver?”
Charlie quickly corrected himself and said: “Bieber. Justin Bieber.”
The presenter joked: “Justin Bieber is a completely different singer.”
Viewers at home rushed to their keyboards as they discussed Charlie’s major blunder.
Taking to Twitter, one fan penned: “Did he just say Justin Beaver?”
Another added: “Justin Beaver? Small chap was he?”
A third said: “There must exist art of Justin Beaver somewhere on the internet.”
While a fourth joked: “Justin Beaver – no relation to Charlie and the Chipmunks.”
Unfortunately for Charlie, the correct answer was Paloma Faith.
