Good Morning Britain fans proved nothing gets past them during Thursday’s show, as they picked up on a mistake during one voiceover segment.
Welcoming hosts Kate Garraway and Ben Shephard to the ITV studios, the voiceover announced the date, inviting viewers to watch GMB.
However, the autocue must have featured a typo, as the date was read out as February 11, 2020, rather than 2021.
Viewers were quick to pick up on the error, as they took to their keyboards to weigh in on the discussion on Twitter.
One said: “#GMB the intro at 7am telling us time/date said it’s 2020.”

“@GMB it’s 2021 not 2020, please change your voice introduction of @GMB,” wrote a second.
And a third chimed: “@GMB the voice over for the date this morning is apparently “Thursday 11th February 2020″…… I really hope it’s 2021.”
Thankfully, later in the show, all errors were fixed as the date listed on the news ticker was entirely accurate.
On top of that, on the screen to one side of Ben and Kate’s news desk, the date was also spelt out correctly.

Elsewhere on the show, Kate explained why she had been absent from the ITV studios in recent weeks, revealing she’d endured a bout of illness.
Opening up to Ben, the mum-of-two explained she’d taken some annual leave in order to get plenty of rest and go through a course of medicine.
She said: “I’ve taken some time off. On ITV they’ve very kindly given me some time off.

“I haven’t been feeling very well – I think it might be one of those things where chickens come home to roost after a long year that we’ve all had.”
With the hospitalisation of her husband Derek Draper last March, Kate and her family have suffered a traumatic year, as they continue to rally for his recovery.
She added: “I just took some holiday leave – at home, I know holidays are controversial – within the four walls of my home. I had a lot of sleep and a bit of medicine and feeling much better, thank you.”
Her longtime friend Ben was delighted to see Kate back in the studio, but couldn’t help but joke: “Right, well you’ve got to bear in mind that a bit of time off for you is a bit of time off for us as well.
“So it works all round.”
