Dani Dyer forced to reassure fans she won't 'overheat' newborn son Santiago

Dani Dyer was forced to reassure her followers on Saturday after sharing a cute video of her newborn son Santiago in a cosy pram suit.

The former Love Island star appeared fed up as she took to her Instagram Story after receiving messages from concerned fans and fellow mums.

Filming a selfie video, Dani told her 3.4 million followers: “Before anyone gets upset, it’s mad now the DM’s I get, the new mums.

“My child was not in the car in his outfit okay in the pram suit, or whatever you want to call it.

“He just goes on walks with that outfit on. I’m not going to overheat my child, don’t worry about it.”

It comes after Dani shared an adorable video of her three-week-old son in a navy blue onesie fast asleep.

Dani, who is in a relationship with Sammy Kimmence, can be heard giggling behind the camera as she tells her son: “You’re so perfect.”

She captioned the post: “This video really warmed my heart. My baby boy you are so special to me.”

It comes after Dani admitted she “felt like a failure” after welcoming Santiago via an unplanned C-section at London’s Portland Hospital.

Opening up on her family podcast, Sorted With The Dyers, Danny Dyer’s daughter said: “It’s been hard, the baby blues are real. It is incredible; your body goes through so much.

“You just want to cry, I’d look at him and cry, I think because you’re constantly thinking ‘am I doing enough?'”

The reality TV added: “I’ve started breastfeeding and it’s hard, it’s difficult, you want to do everything right and I think that’s why you cry.”

She went on to reveal that during the birthing process, she was forced to have a Caesarean-section as little Santiago “didn’t want to come out”.

Dani recalled the emotional scene, saying: “I had to have a caesarean in the end and I was crying about that.

“I never wanted to have a c-section, I know they are very common, and I know they happen, but I never wanted one – that was never in my birth plan, so I started feeling like a failure.

“The baby didn’t want to come out, my waters broke, and I was at five centimetres, and he wasn’t dilating.”

She admitted that the process was “scary,” adding: “you’re paralysed, I could not feel anything. It was scary for me.

“The recovery is hard, Sammy really has seen everything. He was brilliant, I needed someone to laugh with.”
